This 1976 914 passed through the hands of a number of
west coast PCA members before being purchased by
Jol Dantzig. Each owner poured a little more money into
it, moving it closer to it's current use as a track-only car.
When Jol acquired the car it was set up for autocross,
with coil-over front suspension, roll cage, OMP seats,
fiberglass bumpers and 8"x15" five bolt fuchs wheels. Front suspension work was done by Rob King at S CAR GO,
and Brad Sarganis fabricated the cage and suspension
stiffening. Paint and bodywork was performed at
Whitmans in San Rafael,CA.

The street legal version 1995. (Note custom interior job).
A set of Toyo RA1 tires were fitted by AIM at Sears Point.
The Toyos were left full tread, as this was to be Jol's daily
driver, and previous experience had shown that these
tires would last over 4k miles on the street, while performing
well at autocross events.
Before leaving California, Jol had S CAR GO fit 930 brakes at the front and 911S front calipers at the rear. Rob did a
big master cylinder conversion and added an oil cooler
with electric fan.
